Chilis on Wheels...

New England

We have made it our mission to make veganism accessible to communities in need throughout New England- and we welcome you to join us! Whether its in Boston, Providence or you name it, we hope to break down the barriers that may be preventing the members of our community from enjoying the many benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. Learn more about the work that we do and how you can help out below!

Our Services...

With the goal of making veganism accessible to all, our services are completely free of charge. As we work to establish our roots throughout New England, we are actively working to increase the amount of services that we can offer to the members of our community!

Meal Shares

Through our regularly scheduled meal shares at local shelters, soup kitchens, and open spaces, we provide vegan food to anyone in need of a warm meal. In addition to chili, we now offer a wide range of vegan meal options to best cater to our communities needs.

Special Events

From vegan potlucks to holiday celebrations, we host many events for both the communities that we serve as well as our amazing volunteers. Check back regularly to see what new events we're offering within the community!

Check Out Our Upcoming Events!

Take a look at our upcoming events and feel free to respond accordingly! Each month, we’ll be announcing our service and social opportunities below in addition to our newsletters and social media pages. *Please note that our upcoming service opportunities will be posted as soon as we have the dates for our volunteer orientations set in stone- thanks for being patient!

Meet the Team!

Behind all of the community outreach efforts is a dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time and energy to making everything a reality- learn a bit about them below!

Xavier Toledo
New England Coordinator

Xavier is a current student at Boston University studying Nutrition Science and Public Health. With the ultimate goal of becoming a plant-based physician, when he’s not studying, he dedicates much of his time working with organizations that strive to make the world a better place! You can reach him at [email protected]

Jae Estes
New England Coordinator

Our Boston chapter began with batches of nutritious homemade chili made in Jae’s kitchen. When he’s not cooking up delicious vegan meals, he enjoys growing plants, and playing music. He’s also a proud advocate for animals rights, social justice, and civil rights!

Cody Smith
New England Coordinator

Cody recently graduated from Brandeis University with an MBA in nonprofit management and is now building a career in fundraising and development. After studying Philosophy at Cal Poly SLO with a focus on non-human rights, he moved to Boston for an AmeriCorps position and has been cultivating the vegan movement here ever since!

Gianina Padula
New England Coordinator

Gianina is a current Dietetics student at Boston Univeristy with a passion for making innovative plant-based recipes and promoting the importance of a sustainable diet. Embracing creativity in her free time, she is an avid painter, yogi, and guitarist. Gianina strives to become a plant-based dietitian with the mission of making veganism equally accessible for all.

Becca Idson
Intern

Becca is soon graduating from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health. She hopes to help Chilis on Wheels make an impact in the Boston community by making a vegan lifestyle accessible to anyone and everyone!
